2006 A6 S-line .Has my egr valve gone?

Featured Replies

Car was going into limp mode  and smoking  black . If I kept revs high I could get some performance but eventually back to limp. Mechanic said my turbo actuator wasn't working. Just put new turbo on . Performance crap. Grey/blue smoke . Can't get it to rev over 1200. Has my egr gone ? I'm not savvy on diagnosing . Be gentle with me . TIA

Hi the only way to find out is to get the car scanned for faults, this will give you a ballpark as to where the problem is, also it could be the throttle body or an injector or an airleak.

Steve.
