MMI logging in problem

October 2022 A4.

The MMI on start up has started displaying " The selected user has not been used in this vehicle for a while. Please enter the myAudi user data again".

When I try to login both via email/password or scanning the QR code, I keep getting "The name which has been entered already exists in the user list".

The name is in the user list. However, it won't let me login again.

I have the myAudi app on my phone but it tells me the "MMI Wi-Fi connection is "Not linked" even though the slider is toggled on.

I'm having to use it as though I'm a guest.

Any ideas or help gratefully received please.

Deleting my existing user name/details and then inputting it as if it were new seems to have solved the issue 🤞

I own an Audi A3 2009 with a 1.4L petrol engine.Recently i was getting off from work and it was really hot outside. I started the car and it worked for a few meters and then just died. Engine was off, control pannel was off. Then it struggled to turn back on but when i shaked the shifter it would consistently turn on and work a bit before again turning off. The battery is new, it has been a week since and it seems it is due to hot weather, car is otherwise perfectly fine. When it is on it works

Audi A6 2015 ultra 2.0tdi auto: Was driving and had orange glowplug light come on, car immediately went into limp mode and engine light also on. Parked the car and turned it off for couple of min. Came back and when i started car the glowplug light was there but this time with orange airbag light aswell, still on after clearing. plus TPMS warning+ ESC came on for 5/10 seconds. Hi folks, looking for a bit of knowledge to help me understand a start/stop niggle with my 2026 model A3 S Line 35 petrol. The engine has suddenly taken to cutting out without warning. Doing so at 70 mph on the motorway was terrifying lucky I managed to dip the clutch before everything locked up. It has done this at various speeds since that first experience. I have a 2026 model A3 S Line which appears to have some missing parts. The plastic cover for the top of the engine, the filter in the washer bottle neck, the blue washer bottle cap. I am told Audi don't supply these items which seems strange to me in a quality car. My previous A3 S line had all these bits supplied from new can anybody shed any light on this. The dealer advises "that's how they come now"

Hi everyone, I have a 2013 Audi A4 B8.5 Avant 2.0 TDI 177PS quattro with the 7-speed S tronic gearbox. I would like to ask for some opinions from people who have experience with this drivetrain. The main thing I notice is that on A-road/main road driving, especially around 55–70 mph (90–110 km/h), the gearbox sometimes seems to hunt between 6th and 7th gear. It mostly happens with small throttle changes, slight inclines, or when I try to maintain a steady speed around 60–65 mph (roughly 100 km/h

Good day all, I have a 2.0 TFSI with the ZF 8 speed auto ‘box which I intend to get serviced within the next couple of months. Is this just an oil and sump/filter change or is there mechatronic seal (for the wiring) on these? I’m going to get the oil changed in both diffs and the transfer ‘box, is there anything else within the drive train that needs looking at while it’s on the ramp? Mileage is 65,000 miles.

I have a 2019 Audi Q5 Black Edition and I have problem with my aircon. The temperature yesterday 18 June inside the car was 30 degrees and I was stuck in a traffic jam and tried every setting I could think of to get cool air but end result was just more warm air. Hi All, Car : 2015 A5 2.0lt 150hp Couple of issues so far. Had car around 3 weeks, had ATF & Filter changed Friday as history shows last change 40,000, car has 98,000 on it Particle filter warning came on dash, took car for spin down motorway but couldent get it start regen, but cleared code and checked soot levels via VCDS and seem ok Other day I disconnected negative terminal in battery to do full system reset, all went well until this morning, start car and get ECS fault, test battery at

My 2008 A4 Avant has decided that it does not like Hot Weather! Yesterday I went out it started fine but when it was time to retune home it would not start. The ignition came on but on turning the key all dash lights stayed on, with no clicking from the starter motor, as there is with a flat battery.. This is not the first time this has happened it did during the last "Heat Wave" but returned to 'normal service when the weather changed! Anyone got any ideas of what may be the cause?

Hi, I’ve recently got a second hand A1 2012 S-Line 3dr. I took it to Halfords and they have advised I have a blocked Air con. I’ve just replaced the the air filter and cabin filter as they were past due. Does anyone know if I can unblock the A/C myself and if so how to do it and what I’m looking for. Many thanks in advance

HI All, Can you help? My faithful and reliable twenty year old A4 2.0 TDI has developed a few issues. Lack of power in cruise mode going up hills and major juddering when I am lead footed (not often, but when i need to get out of trouble) which causes the engine to vibrate and judder. I’d thought I’d check in on this as my tdi 40 is now coming up to 3 years old. My a/c is always on during summer without fail. This is the first time I’ve ever heard this, this loud. I normally can mainly hear it in the cabin when turning steering wheel on full lock, you know that a/c moan/groan sound. it sounds like the condenser fan blowing, picks up pitch and rhythm with rev counter. Hello I am a new Audi owner and have a A6 40tfsi C8 Facelift Sport Saloon. The car has been everything I hoped it would be -quiet and smooth on the road with enough power to keep me happy in retired life. When I first received the car it had a quarter tank so when it reached only 30 miles of fuel left I filled it up to the brim but could only fill 53 Litres. Hello, I've got a 2015 3.0 BiTdi Allroad. I get a rough idle when then engine is cold. Feels like a cylinder misfiring. Once up to temp, it's fine. The car has been used a bit more for short journeys than I'd have liked. There are no error codes on VCDS. I changed all the glow plugs recently as one had gone down. Could it be some carbon build-up? Is there anything I should be looking at in VCDS to help diagnose the issue? If it is carbon, what needs removing and cleaning? Thanks
