Audi A3 Cabriolet 1.2 tfsi Car going into limp mode

Featured Replies

Audi A3 Cabriolet 1.2 tfsi 2011

Car has been fitted with a re manufactured turbo and actuator about 6 months ago. Recently car has started to go into limp mode intermittently, can fix by switching engine off and on again. Had a new re manufactured actuator fitted but fault still there.
Had plugged into diagnostic and fault code is P334BOO Charge air pressure actuator.

Does anyone know how to finally fix this fault?

I’m not too sure, owned car for just over 2 years and not changed. But that doesn’t explain fault code on the diagnosis scan?

And the reason new turbo and actuator was replaced  6 months ago was because car was going into limp mode

A defective battery will cause a variety of operational faults and false error codes because the car's electronics are so sensitive. Get the battery professionally tested as a first step in the diagnosis, and let us know the result.

If it proves to be faulty and has to be renewed ensure it is coded to the car else you will ruin it. Let's hope you did not waste your money on the turbo.
