2006 PRE-FACELIFT to FACELIFT module wire issues.

Featured Replies

Hi All,

👋 I'm michael a D.I.Y fitter🤣 i have some diagnosis skills but this problem is battling me to my grave.

I've recently bought an audi A3 8PA SE Sportback 1.9 tdi BKC with windows not going up or down and thought nothing of it as the switches can go faulty and sometimes the door to body wiring sometimes breaks, but now I'm 2 weeks deep into this and have come to the conclusion the the door wiring and module does not match the body of the car. big surprise I've find out it's been converted to a face lift door from a none facelift door 😳🙄.

My predicament i have now is I'm totally unsure what part numbers I actually need to look for to determine the right one for my car? I have looked at the body plug female on the car body and it only has pins 1,2,3,5,6,11,12,13,18,20 that can be occupied from my BCM.

but I also don't want to waste money buying the wrong module and looms?

SO Sorry for the long post and any help would be appreciated 🙏.
