Air conditioner compressor replacement

Featured Replies

Been told my ac compressor on the car I bought is broken , I got the part numbers from the sticker and trying to find cheaper compatible options when I put some of the part numbers in I get options from £150-£500 but when I add my reg to sites to see if there compatible they come back as not compatible?

I have uploaded a photo of my part number label can anyone advise

Hi James,

Can you DM me your registration number please? I'll check with my Audi parts mate to confirm compatibility of the (many!) versions on offer.

Cheers,

Mike 😎

Hi James,

My mate's initial reply:

"Hi Mike,   A8 2003-2007
4E0 260 805G goes to AC which then goes to AG so any of those numbers would fit
Hope that helps track one down"

But if you can DM me your Reg No, it should be able to completely confirm it.

Cheers,

Mike 😎

Hi James,

My mate's reply once he got your reg no:

"Hi Mike,  yes A8 2004 newest version is the 4E0 260 805AG but can use any of those versions"

Hope this helps,

Mike😎
