Radio switches off then back on

Featured Replies

I'm sure it's not meant to happen, but whenever the clutch is depressed to start the car from stationary, i.e. from the start stop system, the radio restarts...and is really annoying! Has anyone got a fix? Cheers.

It's the original radio.

Fair enough. If it had been an after market radio it could have been wired into the wrong power supply. That cause is now eliminated, and I don't know what else to suggest except an auto electrician.

Thanks for the suggestion cliffcoggin👍...a bit of a pain, but I can live with it for the moment, if it means it's going to cost something substantial to put right! Do auto electricians still exist these days? I know they're still quite popular in Italy but don't know of any locally off hand...of course I'll have a look on Google!

Anyone else have any ideas in the meantime?
