Help With Disassembly of A1 Multimedia Control Head

Hopefully someone here has managed to disassemble one of these control heads. I have managed all except for the last step on this 8X0.035.183.F from a 2014 A1. The middle switch is defective but I have found the exact replacement part 62AGY22033. 

I just cannot remove the circuit boards as shown in the photo. Two screws attaching the board have been removed but it won’t budge. There is an odd looking plastic extrusion just under the board that I suspect may be some sort of release but nothing I have tried works. I’m afraid to apply too much force. The metal chassis surrounding the board is loose from the front plate but is stopped by the CB from coming off. 

Thanks in advance if anybody knows the answer!
