Chisy Posted Monday at 02:39 PM Posted Monday at 02:39 PM Hey all. Hope it's ok to ask for a bit of help here?! I have a 2018 S4(B9) but have developed a fault with my air con. The code I got was B109207 so believe the motor has gone duff with my air con recirculation flap motor. I do also have another fault code which is B11AF07 "Fresh air door motor mechanical malfunction" but not sure if they are linked but 2 motors failing at the same time would be mighty unlucky. If I were to buy a new motor and fit it, is there someone in the central Scotland area that can help me recode/activate it using VCDS as my Carly scanner can't do that. I begrudge going to a main dealer as they charge so much for what I think is a simple job. Cheers, Chisy

Cheers, Chisy Hi I think you will find that a new motor is just plug in and play, as long as it is the same part the control module will just accept that it now works and not register a code again, the motor is just a slave and as long as it accepts a command pulse it should work fine. Steve.
Chisy Posted Monday at 07:25 PM Author Posted Monday at 07:25 PM (edited) Hi Steve, are you sure as there's an older post on this that states the new part (which has now been superseded) needs activated? I'll try and find the link to that and edit this post with it. Cheers for any and all help.... Chisy Posted Wednesday at 07:52 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 07:52 AM Cheers Steve, I'm looking to sell my S4 but want it working fully before doing so. I'd gladly pay someone for their time and skills plus I'd travel to them. Also, it'd give me the chance to see VCDS in use to know whether it would be worth getting in the future as I do have another Audi. Unfortunately my wife's car is not a VAG car. Cheers, Chisy
