A3 Quattro 2000/1: changing headlight bulb

Passenger side headlight bulb needs replacing.

How the hell do you get the rear casing off??

A couple of photos below to show what I think is the the casing. Top catch I can manage but how in darnation do you spring it out of there??

Hi you either access it via the wheel arch liner but your one looks like its the take out the headlight unit.

Oh God. Seriously??? I love my Quattro but fffffffs, who the hell designed the inner gubbins??
