B2 service parts

Featured Replies

Hi, I am looking for service parts fir my b2 1.9. Dissy cap, oil and air filters etc. Also need the rockerbox breather pipe. Can anyone point me in the right direction please ?

Welcome Edmund,

Engine oil -  Check in your handbook for the correct grade, since you may find that this 1980s car runs on semi synthetic engine oil (possibly 10w/40 but please check). If so, I’ve used Shell Helix to good effect.

Filters:- again EBay will be your best search source, since mainstream motor factors are unlikely to hold stock for this age car. You should find sellers of new-old-stock. Try to find out part numbers. Brands such as Mann, Bosch and others are well respected.

Please let us know how you get on Edmund.

If you need any further guidance then please come back to us.

Regards,

Gareth.

Any of this any good to you Edmund?

There doesnt appear to be a link on your post?

There isn’t a specific link,

Are you able to conduct an EBay search for the filters etc. that you want?

Are you able to do and on line search for what oil grade you need for your engine?
You can search Castrol’s website, and/or Opie oils website.

Please let us know how you get on.

It seems that Edmund has no interest in sharing information which would be of help to others with older models.
This is not what the forum is about, so he has been warned for failing to help - despite being prompted.
