New Q3 Sportback OLED or PRO Rear Lights

Featured Replies

I ordered a new car and selected the OLED tail lights, salesman says do you want to pay £1000 for them as rhe standard lights look the same with the triangle effect. So I removed it to find out the LED Pro lights don't look anything like the OLED pattern. Should I cancel the order or just take it with the LED Pro lights???

Thanks Ian,

This really is down to personal choice and a discussion with your wallet.
Will the more fancy lights make the car more appealing to you (in caps)? I would guess the answer to that will be no, since you won’t see them when you are driving, and do you really want to pay £1000 to try to impress whoever is driving behind you?

If you are acquiring this on a PCP/ lease, it probably equates to £x/month extra, and it would be useful to know by how much it increases the ‘trade in’ estimated value at the end of the lease for your £1000 plus interest ‘investment’ -?

Regards,

Gareth.

I considered this option and decided there was no benefit to me as the driver, nor could I see anyway it would improve my safety from following vehicles.

But you have missed the point of ‘look-at-me-I’ve - got fancy-lights’ factor.

True, but I have my Motorbike for that. :wink3:
