Hi everyone, my 2018 A7 has started making a noise shortly after I set off after engine start. It sounds just like the windscreen washer pump, but I'm not using it. It usually makes the noise twice at a time with a fast pause between. Sometimes it'll do it again further on, but always within the 1st minute or so of driving.

Any idea what could be making this noise? It didn't do it a few months ago and is becoming more frequent.

It's going to be nearly impossible to diagnose without hearing the noise. Is there any chance you can make a good audio recording? Note that most phone recordings sent to the forum have background noise drowning out the noise in question.
