Performance exhaust

Featured Replies

Hi all. Have an audi A3 8p Convertible w.0tdi 2008. Would like to fit a cat back performance exhaust on the car with a nice deep tone. Anybody done this to theirs? If so which exhaust did you use? Thanks

Hi bit of a pointless exercise as it wont make much difference as the deeper exhaust note wont be that noticeable worst case scenario it will resonate like the cats been gutted, the exhaust is the last thing you change after having engine work done to improve the breathing, bigger valves, gas flowed head which has also been ported to allow the gas to get out faster which is when you need a bigger exhaust to cope with the more rapid gas evacuation from the engine, if its a nice car save your money for real repairs and just enjoy it as is.

Steve.
