Playing music via USB-C memory stick

I am looking to play music in my 2025 S3 via a USB-C memory stick.

We currently have music uploaded as .mp3 files onto a FAT32 formatted 8GB USB-C memory stick. However, when plugging this into the car, it doesn’t play.

Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

The usb c on my 24 reg sq5 is for charging only , the proper usb stick connector is for Audio/ media.  Yes it plays MP3 files.
