s15hdn Posted September 9, 2013 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Hi there, I'm an Audi virgin so bear with me if I confuse the situation. I bought a 2004 1.6 SE.... The brake pad wear indicator has lot up on my dash, can anyone tell me if it is the front or back set of pads that have the wear indicator, or can I buy both sets with wear indicators built in? Tech Posted September 29, 2013 Share Posted September 29, 2013 The brake pad wear indicator is for the front pads only, it can not be retrofitted to the rear (these require wear assessment visually).
