Just purchased a 2026 A1 & am confused with the specification that lists included in the S-line ‘ambient light package’. My car appears not to have it included but various sources suggest it should be included & consists of coloured interior lighting with variable colours & brightness. It is noted as present on my specification list under vin number! Should it be there or not? Dealer says present only with ‘tech pack pro’. Confusing!

We fell into the same trap due to the website

In addition to the Sport, S line trim includes:

• Sport suspension

• S line exterior styling pack

• Ambient lighting package

We have just bought a black edition and presumed it was standard as optioned it on our old A1 and the wife really like it. Sadly no package in our car as no option on the screen and checked the trim and it missing.

Did you bring it to the attention of the dealer?

No only picked it up yesterday and only had a proper chance at looking at it this afternoon.

I did not know whether to contact Audi directly. Have you?

I went back to the dealer a couple of days after initial collection & they said the ambient lighting package only came with the tech pack pro as you mentioned. I thought it was included with the standard tech pack as you did. Yes, very misleading on the website & I am still confused & wondering if a mistake has been made somewhere.

So I did question this with the dealer on one of the follow up calls and they went and checked and said it was removed around 12 months ago.

Shame as that was a nice feature

It so annoys me when Companies do not update their websites! It clearly states ‘Ambient light package’ both on the website & on the car specification list.

Yes and I am not sure that even a tech pack pro even gets them now seems to be dropped completely.

Maybe because the A1 is soon to be discontinued?

It’s already stopped production from what I have read.

What a great shame! Smallest Audi now an A3.

It’s the main reason we bought a new one to replace our 7 year old A1 so we could hopefully have this A1 for another 7 years at least.
