Fueling from can

Featured Replies

Hi, A3 sportback 2023. If I fuel from a fuel can, is it just a case of pouring fuel down the filler neck, or is there some sort of fuel guard I need to be aware of?

The can nozzle doesn't go down very far and I don't want to splash fuel everywhere :/

I don't have a capless system, just a regular cap which I need to take off when I fuel.

Thanks!

Hi you will need a funnel thats the easiest way, loads on eBay to fit your vehicle.

Steve.

The guard you mention is an anti-syphoning device so does not affect filling.
