REAR FOOTWELL ( Drivers Side) full of water. AUDI A6 C7 2013

Featured Replies

hello guys. anyone any ideas where to look for water getting in to rear footwell please? ive tested the door and the windscreen, but nothing came in. ive lifted the carpet and it was soaking and a fair bit of a puddle. all the other footwells are dry...ive left the carpet up just now to try and dry it out. any help would be great. its a 2013 A6 salon. ( NO SUNROOF)

Usual culprits are heater matrix, plenum drain (bulkhead below windscreen). Also heard the rear vents behind the bumper (helps equalise pressure when doors are shut) can be possible entry points. Lift the carpet as much as you can and get a wet and dry vacuum in there. Lift rear boot cover and check the area is dry there.
