2015 s3 8v coils

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm looking to replace my coilpacks on my unmolested s3 8v 2015 saloon, unsure whether to stick with stock or upgrade, so I've read that bremi or eldor are audi items, I've been told at arnold clark that Hitachi are audi (dont trust them though). So if I'm upgrading any feedback k would be brilliant, I've got double platinum plugs in hand but want to do both together.

Hi Spartacus cheers for info, I just have a mistrust for arnold clark from previous experience.

The coils on my car are beru, do you think I'm better going like for like or upgrade? Also thinking of exhaust and read stay resonated with valves, i dont want a noisy bugger just maybe subtle tone differences with the different driving modes, any thoughts or experience is useful.

If it's a stock car, and it's running well, then personally I'd stick with what you have. Audi work with a range of manufacturers, and it's not uncommon for them to issue new part numbers (last letter changes) where a product has been revised and supersedes the previous version.
