2nd gear issues Audi a6c7

Hi,

I realised my Audi jolts when it goes down to 2nd gear which is quite a strong jolt. When it comes out of 2nd gear it has a slight jolt but not as bad as when it goes down.

2.0 tdi ultra, s tronic automatic, recently had a gearbox service done.

Could this be related by any chance to either the flywheel or maybe the actual gearbox?

The MMI screen in my 2017 A3 (8V??) won't go up anymore. For a while it's been making a weird noise sometimes when the car starts and the screen is moving up as the system starts up. It seemed to be a mechanical noise, like something was rubbing against something, or a gear with grinding, but it was really hard to pinpoint. Also, not my daily driver, so I often forgot that it happened. Now the screen comes on, but doesn't rise out of the dash. I was able to remove it from the dash and see th

Hi guys and girls. Hope this is okay. Thought this was a New Zealand site when joining. I crashed my A6 c5 wide-body 2002 Audi. And before I send to wreckers seeing if anyone needs parts. I have owned it for 14 years now and spend bit of money making it stronger. Rebuild trans, abs system, cooling system, made from two cars. Regn on hold.

Hi, my daughter has a A3 2.0tdi 109k miles and I just took it for a drive. There are a few strange things going on. Any pointers what to look at to fix. Vibration at 70mph.. I think this is wheel balance so will get them rebalanced Engine rattle at c2000rpm, light pressure on accelerator, noticeable in 3rd 4th 5th and 6th gear. Quite loud especially at 70mph on motorway cruising speed. Speeds and rev counter.. the brightness changes from very bright to very dark.. almost like the light level adj

Hello everyone I have been the fortunate owner of an A6 C6 3.0 tdi quattro for the last year and 3 months with (surprisingly and thankfully) no issues. The time has come to change the control arms (both front and rear) After some research I am still yet to arrive to a decision so I thought I would ask the Audi community for some advice to best help me I understand lemforder is an OEM supplier to Audi but the pricing of febi bilstein products are tempting, especially given the fact to change all

Hi Looking for a good local Audi Q7 specialist to take the car and fix various issues. 85,000 miles well looked after car only 2 owners. Was over £90,000 new high spec car so keen to keep it. Main one being grey intermittent smoke from RHS exhaust which regularly causes DPF filter blockage. Had injectors out and cleaned, didn't solve it. Been to several Audi specialist all saying different things. Turbo seals, EGR valves etc. No lack of performance at all, just sometimes after 4/5 mins it star

hello everyone im new here and i recently got a 2006 audi a3 8p 2.0tdi quattro at first it just had an idle issue so the revs on idle would just go up to 1k and after some time would go back to normal then when i push it past around 135km/h it would ussually put the car in limp mode and after a restart its bakc to normal but when i woke up today went outside started it everything seemes normal i started driving got up to fourth gear accelerated and started to hear a knock but only while accelera

Hi, I'm Pat and I own a Q3 - I have joined today. What is the required period for replacement of the timing belt. In the last 6 months I have become aware of belt failures in Ford Escorts, Volvo XC60 and an Audi A3. I have spoken with many people and been given ranges from 40k to 186k. Being totally confused, I went into my local Audi Dealer (Farnborough) to get a definitive answer. Hi, im after some advice/help? I purchased a set of oem audi wheels, there 17s ET45. I went to have them fitted yesterday, the rear looks perfect but the front the tyres sit on the suspension leg. Ive searched and asked questions, im told 10mm spacers on the front will sort the problem but im a little concerned overtime it could cause problems? All the pics ive searched/seen the c4s range from 17s to 19s all round Thank you 🙂

Hi all wonderful if you could help please. after a long drive a vibration started just underneath the gearstick and msg came up says gearbox malfunction you can continue driving. Took it for a diagnostic please see photo then they said I have to change the whole gearbox I am in no position to do that, one guessing it’s Mechatronics. Anyone else had this issue before? Or anyone know a good specialist in London so I can take it to them? Thank you in advance much appreciate if you reply. Regards Z

I have a green Audi A4 T reg, which has been in my garage for a couple of years. A couple of things need attention like the drivers seat spring, exhaust is rattling a bit and the odd scratch outside. I disconnected the battery when I put in the garage and now all it is doing is collecting dust. I am reluctant to sell because it has been used as a family car until grandchildren came along and because it has no isofix for child seats, we had to SORN it. Hi I'm selling my 1999 audi avant 1.9tdi would anybody in the club be interested in it. It has got 226100 miles on the clock but starts first time and drives very well. On the last MOT it had an advisory on an oil leak on the front of the engine .it's just had a rear caliper and pads fitted ,also a rear back box but now it has an abs fault showing on the dash MOT till 8TH of September it's white in colour the body work is in very good condition for a car of that year it has some minor blemishes

Is anybody having trouble charging with Octopus Go. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get my A3 to charge without success. I have at octopus's suggestion fitted a new 12v Battery (new battery was coded to the car) and that night full charge was successful. Since then small amount of charge or nothing. I have switched off the car timers as Octopus suggest to no avail. Interestingly after a failed charge one of the timers has changed to a random date in the future. Communication with the car does

Hi all, I have bought my wife a 2019 Audi TT RHD which she loves. I wanted to transfer the car cam from her old car to the Audi but I cant find the fuse box in the car. The manual says in the RHD model the fusebox is hidden behind a panel in the back of the glovebox but there doesnt seem to be a panel as shown in the manual.
