Could anyone tell me please what this hole in a gearbox is for and what part is supposed to go in there? One of the garages that has done front differential reconditioning work has left a long rubber tube in it, and ziptied it to the wires at the back of the engine.And now it keeps spilling out oil. Not sure if it's a gearbox or diff fluid. Any help would be appreciated. I found few pictures online of a similar gearbox for the reference. Pretty sure that pipe is not supposed to be there.
