current have a rx8 PZ wich will become now a weekend toy

me and mrs were looking at the A5 3.0TDI vs Jaguar XF3.0

so i decided to pop here to learn a bit more about the A5

on a 10k budget

what can get m and what to look for when looking for one IE- faults etc

The 3.0TDI in the A5 is a great engine with loads of torque and will certainly be better on fuel that your RX8  :D

 

Good to keep as a weekend toy I would imagine  :)

hi , thanks for the welcome , ya the rx8 is a very fun car to drive but doing 18MPG doesnt help the wallet

so afterlooking at the xf and the a5 we decided the a5 is the one for us, the xf maybe better on MPG and possibly luxury but like on the performance side buy what i been reading and comparing booth.

now just neet to know what faults to look for when looking at the A5 2007 to 2009

I think you can get some quite good gains on the 3.0 TDI unit. Makes it into a proper street sleeper!  :D

You could also get the A5 in the 4WD Quattro version to make much more use of the power.  Does Jaguar do an XF in four wheel drive?
