Firstly my say hi all as new

 

Just got my q7 and it dose not have sat nav just basic sline how can I upgrade will a double din unit fit

hi its a 2007 57reg have seen a double din wont fit but not sure what or were to change  

Depends what you want to spend on it really I guess. I'm sure I've seen sites offering OEM retrofits somewhere but they're normally quite pricy.

My 08 Q7 has no sat nav either , and I think I'll just stick with my Tom Tom portable one , because it's cheap to buy and cheap to upgrade maps compared to trying to fit and update a built in one .

I am lucky to have a MMI High car, but when I was looking to add to this I was recommended to look at www.satnavsystems.com and www.tclsatnav.com (craigyb is a well known forum contributor and owner of this company, i believe).  They can help with retrofitting upgraded systems.
