Featured Replies

hi all, just a few newbie questions to understand my new car if anybody can help please

04 plate a4 b6 1.9td s-line...

~ the car is silver, but what shade of silver will it be?

~ what are the pcd and offset of the wheels?

~ how many valves does this engine have?

~ what are the sizes of the front and rear brake discs? (im planning to upgrade to brembo)

~ what oil is best used?

~ what is the engine code and bhp?

many thanks

Engine code is probably AWX and oil I normally use vw501 oil but I will check that shortly, and 130bhp

My oil is vw502 & vw505 longlife oil, I got mine cheap £12.49 for 5l. Stealer wanted near £60

cool, ive just read on google that the 3 digit number is quite important and need to look for idealy 504? is this right?

i prefer to use castrol oil, but to be fair, i no longer want to pay £44 for 4L so a slightly cheaper alternative needs to be found

edit: im also surprised that this engine only has 8 valves??

thanks
