I would be grateful for your advice please on the above.

 

I took an A1 1.6TDI Sport out for a test drive yesterday.  I loved the feel of it and liked the interior.

 

The garage salesman was typically doing the hard sale and trying to convince me that it was the  right car for me.

 

However, my concern is that the majority of journeys I will be making will be around town.

 

I'm worried that this will cause blockages in the diesel filter and will become costly.

 

What are your thoughts? Should I go for a petrol version?

 

I'm looking for an economical and reliable car..

 

 

 

 

I got mine on hire purchase and had servicing and tyre wear including. The mileage is fantastic. 500 to a tank and £40odd to fill it up. Plus comfy. Best car ever had and looks the part
