hi I am new to this group

I have an Audi cabriolet 1800cc 1998 on an R plate. this car has been stored for 8 years and is now being sorted ready for the road hopefully

the first issue is with the fuel pump which is not working I have found a replacement for this

the 2nd issue is that the Boot lid will not open and neither will the electric roof.

the release mechanism nr the windscreen will not release the hood

the question is .could this be the boot actuator playing up therefore telling the ECU  that it thinks the boot is in the open position???

Have you thought about the handbrake switch? If the car doesn't realise that the handbrake is on it will not release the roof at the windscreen.
