Hi recently bought a 2010 se A4 from Arnold Clark.

After going home i looked around the boot.

No space saver and a big void round the battery were i suspect the tool kit is placed.

My question is Members,are these items normal issue or as the Salesman is say there is no items issued with the car,new.

Other than the filler and compressor for a flat tyre.

I would appreciate any info.asap as iam just about to go back to this show room and confront them.

Id rather have good solid information before meeting these people.

No space saver is normal if you have the foam and compressor.

 

Not sure on the tool kit but Audi do often put them in awkward places. Have a hunt around further under the floor than you may think like the next layer down and look behind plastic compartment doors etc.

In my A4 B8 the tool kit and spare wheel are in the boot, covering and surrounding the battery :)

I lifted the lid off the battery,there is a few tools there,but no jack!

Sounds like you have everything then. The jack would only be there if you had a space saver, and because you have the compressor and gunge stuff, that's what you have instead....
