Heated windcsreen

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how you switch on the heated front screen on a 2016 new model Q7.

the audi dealership doesnt know ??

Hi Ric, if you look in the brochure it states the following:

Heated windscreen – heated windscreen in insulating/acoustic glass, facilitates rapid defrosting and provides a condensation-free windscreen.
Controlled via a button on the air conditioning controls; additionally the windscreen's reflective coating reduces the windshield heating the
interior. Does not include clear section for toll passes

However, when I've looked at photos of the Q7 air con controls (unless the car I've looked at doesn't have it fitted seeing as it is optional) I can't see a standalone button. Perhaps it comes on with the "max demist" button?

Let us know how you get on. I'm guessing you may have to wait for first frost although with the cold mornings lately it may help with the condensation too...
