hi can any one tell me why my headlights keep going off , they come back on again after a few seconds but after a while i have to switch them off and back on again to get them to work . theyre halogen lights on a 2009 audi a3 quatro . i have been told it could be something called the discharge amplifier, can anyone help me with this ? thanks.

Could also be the switch if affecting both headlights?
