Radio - Poor Reception

Featured Replies

I hope someone can help!

I have an Audi A4 Avant 2010 with the MMI and sat nav.  For the past month I have been having bad reception on the radio. I drive on the M25 a lot where there is usually a lot of reception yet now I am only receiving one or two channels and they are usually Classical and Radio 4!  My other car picks up the usual Radio 1, 2, 3, Kiss FM, Capital etc and that's a 12 year old car!  Definitely something not right.  Any ideas?

Regards

Matt

Just to confirm are we talking about FM or DAB here?

Hi there,

Its FM

ta

Weird... has it only just started doing it? Has anything else changed that you can think of?

Hi there,

its been like like this for a few months now, everything on the car is sound.

regards

I'd have thought it was unlikely to be the aerial as they don't usually go wrong. My best guess would be the actual FM receiver in the head unit is playing up?

What type of aerial do you have? Is it hidden in the glass or is it a shark fin style on the roof?
