Hi all

My first Audi, first 4 x 4 and first cabriolet so open to all advice and comments.  Come from the dark side, blue Oval.

Hi Sean, welcome to the club

Got any pics?

Hi James, thanks for the welcome. I pick up a 2006 A4 3.0 TDI Quattro cab this weekend, will post some pics as soon as I can.

Hi all, shot of my latest purchase, can I pick some brains from the forum?

a. Can anyone advise what alloys were available at the time and if the ones fitted are correct for the year - I've seen lots of variations.

b. I've owned some rapid cars, on the test drive this car would have shut down anything else ive owned and I'm talking about subaru/cosworth. How can I establish if this car has been chipped as it is just ballistic.

Thanks in advance.

Hard to tell unless you have paperwork or put it on a rolling road etc...

To be honest the 3.0 diesels always feel really quick because they have an absolute truck load of torque
