Hi all I've just got my first Eva audi a3 but only the standed 1.8 for now but every time I start the car, the heater or water message thing keeps flashing on the dash if any 1 could help shed the light on this would be much appreciated cheers

Hi Bryan, what's the message you get?

Have you tried scanning for error codes?

P0300 fault code

I think that code is often related to the coilpacks.

Also, the water thing I believe is just showing you that it's overheating - look at the temperature gauge. Should be about halfway.

Thank you the temperature gauge only goes half way but the guy I got it off said it has just had a new water pump and coil packs so wondering if it needs plugging in to reset everything
