MOT Failure

Featured Replies

My Audi A4 just failed MOT due to faulty passenger air bag. Garage said to take it to main dealer cos they didn't have the correct tools to get at it to check it. Sounds like it could be expensive? Any ideas please?

Is it just that the airbag light has come on? Have they scanned it for fault codes?

I've sorted it now James thanks. Took it to someone else. There was nothing wrong with the airbag. A fault with the wiring under the passenger seat.

The classic fix for this problem on many cars is to redo the wiring connectors under the seat to prevent this happening on a sometimes frequent basis if wiring is not spot on.
