Mms CD player unable to read discs

Featured Replies

Hi

recently purchased a 11plate q5 which is great except the mmi ......

i have navigation discs, which will not play on the unit, also tried a normal audio cd, but the mmi does not recognise either disc?

also to add to this, when I press for navigation, the unit displays searching for satellites but no map display.

would really appreciate any assistance.

thank

dave

Speaking as one Dave to another, I have only been a Q5 owner since Jan 2nd and am more than happy with my 14 plate car. However bearing mind your question, from where did  you purchase it ? if from an Audi dealer, I would take it straight back and have a blast at them for even allowing it out , if from another reputable source then the same kind of response. But I think you'll need to approach your local dealership to get things corrected.

Hope you have some success

David from Guildford

Agree with Dave, if it's a recent purchase from a dealer take it straight back. If it's not reading any form of disc then it could be a faulty drive?
