Hi everyone

Featured Replies

New member here. I've recently acquired an 06 A3 2.0 TDI. I'm curious to find out a bit more about this model, any common faults, things to look out for, popular modifications (mechanical & visual), any suggestions or tips would be great.

Thanks, Luke.

Hello Luke. Don't expect too many replies as this forum has few contributors. I can't comment on your questions as I am new to Audi myself. I am pleased with mine so far, though a complete change from the three Granadas I previously owned. (There was also briefly a BMW 525 that I did not like - too noisy and too uncomfortable.)

Hi Luke I've only been on here for about 5 months now when I bought my 2004 Audi A3 2.0 tdi I think it's a great car. The only really problems I have had is the flywheel was knocking really bad about five days of buying was gutted but now all fixed its mint, and minor issues I've got is fuel gauge gets stuck sometime when I start car and a little water from them radiator other then that I think it's a strong little car

Thanks guys. I just had it MOT'd and it passed without any advisories, I'll probably service it soon just got peace of mind.

My MOT tester said my offside rear calliper is sticking slightly, it either needs a good clean or replacing.

Luke.
