Hi

Can anyone help please my audi 100 started no problem then after driving 50 yards stopped and hasnt started since, its been at the garage for a fornight and the mechanic can't find anything wrong apart from it wont start, it turns over, we changed the ecu, theres petrol in the tank, the electrics have been checked and there's petrol to the injectors.

Has anyone please got any ideas what the problem could be, any ideas wil be grately apprieciated, thank you

Hi James,

Just some ideas here as I'm sure the garage have already checked these items, but here they are:

Camshaft timing moved?

Spark at plugs?

Engine breathing and exhausting (e.g. blocked exhaust system, blocked intake)

Compression test / Leak-down test....quick and easy to do and can diagnose a multitude of faults

Please keep us informed of any developments as other members may have similar starting issues.

Best Regards,   Trevor - Admin
