Hello, was trying to get Bluetooth audio on this damn thing, but can't seem to do anything, but wondered what this thing is that's fitted nicely. Got no other parts to it though.

You can get phone specific cradles that clip onto that from Audi dealers. As regardes Bluetooth try searching for audi uhv on your phone.
