Hello Ladies,

So just bought the car yesterday...

How do I clean the soft top? Does it need protection? Something to stop it ageing?

Cheers guys!

Hi Anton....welcome to the Forum!

There are plenty of products available out there but they're not cheap...I use waterproofing spray which you can get from a camplng shop...not too sure about the long term benefits though

Cheers Trev you cheeky monkey,

I bought some AutoGlym stuff with shampoo & protector that comes with a sponge, looks like it should do a decent job, although I might buy something to keep it dark, it looks almost mint though to be fair so I can hang off on the colour fix for now.

Really appreciate you getting back to me on this, it's was a daft question tbh, I ended up learning about it on youtube in just a few minutes. I now also know how to manually open and close the roof too which is a huge bonus =)

And I can remember the first few steps in changing the timing belt, so happy with the search ^^

Cheers!
