Advice on Apple iPhone 7 connection

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've just bought an April 2013 A3 cabriolet, which comes with a 30-pin AMI connector to connect to an iPhone 4.

We have an iPhone 7 with a lightning connector. Can anyone advise on which is the best cable to buy? Should I get a new AMI cable like this -

Or would it be sufficient just to get a 30-pin to lightning adapter like this -

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks,

Manish

Hi mate, I just got my A3 this week and just purchased one of these, it comes with an aux yes but still charges through the lightning, haven't tried playing music yet but I just use bluetooth for that. It does say its for the iPhone 6 but as said still works for charging and I'm guessing the aux would work for any phone?

Much better price too!
