I have new A4 currently on order.

In the meantime I have a 2013(63) A4 SE Technik.

My question is twofold, will the 2013 A4 read an SDXC card? and does the 2016 SDXC slot have a card capacity maximum as I've read previous models officially won't take more than 32GB.

Reason I ask is that the old A4 only came with an old 30pin connector for the iphone to AMI, so plan to buy a reasonable size SDXC card ~256GB for when the new car comes but would like to use the card to play music in the old A4 whilst I await delivery.

Sorry no one has responded to your query yet...I must admit that I do not know whether it will work or not but I guess there's only one way to find out.

Let us now how you get on with it once you get your new A4.
