instrument cluster issue

i have a 2002 a6 se with an instrument cluster issue. the speedometer and revs work fine but the battery temp clock is stuck on max, fuel gauge is inaccurate, water temp stuck at 75 degrees and oil temp clock is stuck at 0. anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong? thanks in advance

thanks for the welcome and reply trevor. the battery has already been disconnected  and reconnected and didnt make a difference. i was told this was a common problem with audis and could only be fixed by sending it to audi whuich would cost me upwards of £200. any other ideas? thanks again
