My Audi A4 Quatro Sport 180 has intermittent starting problems.

Map sensor; Maf Air sensor Ignition sender coil and immobiliser dash unit replaced.

Problem not solved. Any suggestions from similar experience ?

Hi John...welcome to the Forum

Difficult one really as could be virtually anything causing poor starting.

I would look at fuel filter & housing as if its drawing air that could be one reason.

Also, check the Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) and especially the connector and the wiring going to it, because if that's giving the wrong reading it would affect starting.

Let us know how you get on with it

Cheers   Trevor
