I've forsaken the Japanese!

Good Afternoon,

After owning various Hondas and Nissans over the years, I decided that a change was required.  So, it was goodbye Civic, and hello Audi A3 TDI.

As well as it being my first German car, it's my first diesel AND my first automatic (it's got the S-Tronic gearbox) and I love it.  I haven't felt this pleased and excited about a car since my P11 Nissan Primera SE which, with the exception of the A3, was the best car that I've owned so far, and I've been driving for 30 years!

The A3 is a 2014 SE, but whoever had it new loaded it up with extras, so it's pretty well equiped with the gearbox mentioned above, satnav, auto dimming mirror etc.

Looking forward to having a nosey around in here.

Regards

Ian

Hi,

Here's a couple of pics.  1st pic was the day I bought it, and it was still at the dealership.  2nd Pic is in my drive, with a lovely backdrop of a shed and our wheelie-bins :)

A month in, and I'm FAR from bored of it.
