Diagnostic port has no plug!

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I recently purchased a used A6, drives really well but the EPC light has come on but the dash display is fairly useless so I can't see the errors. I went looking for the diagnostic port, as I believe my C310 code reader may fit but there's no damn plug.

I'm looking in the right place, having had a good Google it also looks like it housed it and its not even there!

Is there another OBD port? What can I do if there isn't a diagnostic plug?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for replying Trevor, but the plug isn't in the socket that it should be. Going to take the lower dash apart tomorrow and see where it is.
