2010 b8 not starting but cranking

Featured Replies

Hi

i have a 2010 Audi and it started idealing funny last week, the rpm hand wud move up and down once I started it in the morning. After getting it plugged into a computer, they said it needed an injector an the pressure rail changed as no fuel was getting through so after all that has beeen changed the car now won't start,it cranks but that's all. The diesel pump sensor was changed before it wudnt start to another Audi one, the car died out once it was swapped and hasn't now started since even with its own sensor.

any Audi specialists on here? Please help

Hi...and welcome to the Forum

It sounds odd that the car doesn't start after fitting the parts, would be tempted to put the old parts back on and make sure the system is bled properly.

If the fuel pressure sender is not reading pressure then it won't start so ensure that fuel is present in the rail and then see if other components are responding accordingly.

What does the scanner report (e.g. fault codes, live data, etc)

Cheers Trevor
