Help finding coolant bleed screw

Featured Replies

Hi, I am only after flushing out my heater core which took out alot of dirt and improved the heating but there is airlocked in the core and you can feel the air inside the inlet and outlet hoses, iv raised the reservoir and bleed it through the bleed hole on the heater core hose but nothing happens,  could someone tell me where the bleed screw is or show me a pic please. Its 2.0 tdi b7. Theres loads of info on petrol audis online but next to nothing for diesels. Thanks

Hi Patrick....welcome to the Forum

I personally don't know where the bleed screw is but you could slightly loosen the hose connections to the matrix until the air/coolant emits from there.

Let us know if you do find the bleed screw

Cheers   Trevor
