Newer Audi Models - Oil Consumption?

Featured Replies

We had a persistent and annoying oil consumption issue with our Q5 which was eventually rectified (although not completely).  We love the brand, particularly for its Quattro feature in light of snow/ice.  Having said that, we are considering a new Audi purchase.  Any insight as to whether the oil issues continue with the new models would be greatly appreciated!

Only unless you're unlucky, but newer models don't tent to have faults like that, it could be more electrical (Because of more tech) but then again any new car and model could have so I wouldn't worry.

What Audi you looking to get?

Cheers

Bradley

Hi Dan...welcome to the Forum

I'm curious as to how the oil consumption was rectified (almost)...what did they do/fit to sort it?

Hopefully, Audi have sorted the oil consumption issue with their newest offerings but its worth chatting to the dealers about it.

Keep us updated on your potential new purchase

Cheers  Trevor
