Hey all,

I'm liking the look of this place, looks helpful and friendly (from what I've seen so far)

Anyway, my name is Rich, I've just bought an early 2007 A3 2.0tdi 3dr S-line, DSG. I'm a bilateral amputee, so manual is possible, but it's expensive to adapt the car. Hence the DSG. I've had a few Audi's before, mainly A4's, and early 1980's Coupes, 80's and 90's

I'm hugely into my classic Japanese cars, Datsun, 240Z's, Skylines (Hakosuka's and Kenmari's) and many Toyotas.

The A3 needs a couple of items, so I'll post in the wanted section.

Thanks in advance for the welcome.

Regards

Rich

Hi Rich...welcome to the Forum

I can imagine the DSG is ideal for you as opposed to having to convert the car (as in the good old days).

I agree, the early Jap cars are now so highly collectable and desirable....it's easy to forget how innovative they were even back then.

Good to have you onboard

Cheers  Trevor

Hey Trevor,

indeed, the DSG just requires a simple push/pull adaption, which is very minimal.

Yes, the prices of the older Japanese cars have gone crazy in the last year or 2.

Thanks for the kind welcome.

Rich
