Drive select system

Featured Replies

alright guys im going to be traveling down to kent from Liverpool in a couple of weeks and since this is the furthest i will have traveled since owning my a6 i was wondering what is the best drive selection to use as its a 250 mile drive primarily on motorways. I have a 2013 2.0TDI S LINE manual.

thanks 😀

Stick it 6 and hit cruise and leave it as much as possile, auto setting will adjust accordingly but generally I find the stiffer steering a little more stable on the the roads, especially as the A6 steering can feel a little light on economy.

I have a 3.0 auto and at time have hit 49-50mpg when poodling. 😱

Cheers furthest iv driven it so far was only up the M62 to huddersfield which in eco mode was averaging about 53mpg but its to slow when you need to overtake and I always find myself switching to auto as its a lot more responsive than the eco.
