Reversing sensors

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

Looking for any possible tips, advice upon the A4 Rear reversing sensors that seem to have a mind of their own.
Sometimes they will work, and sometimes they don’t, I just get a long error bleep from the cars warning system.
Anyone else had this issue ?

Hi Dave

Are they aftermarket or manufacturer fitted?

have you cleaned all the dirt off them?

Regards

Bradley

Hi Bradley,

They are manufactured fitted, and yes thanks I've cleaned them, They just work when they want to lol...as if a mind of their own.

Hi Dave

Haha, have you tried to talk to it? ("beep beep, beeeep") ect?

Years ago my dad had the same issue, it was the heat about the bumper (hot summer) and had it beeping constantly (Irrelevant just thought it say)

Have you sent ir or going to send your car to a garage to look at it properly? could be a loose wire, water touching wires ect

Regards

Bradley
